Province of Varese

The district of Varese, its institutions, and especially the Province of Varese, are glad and proud to host the JCI European Presidents Meeting, hold in Varese in 2011.

We are proud because we consider this event as an opportunity to support the mission of such important association, with our welcome, industriousness and the organizational resources our territory holds. An association opens to the development of the global society and of young people, driven by an entrepreneurship based on social responsibility and brotherhood.
Moreover we are glad to provide the European Presidents and the new international generation, that prefer to train and improve themselves following a way of managing respectful of human dimensions and an economy open to discussion with new ideas and suggestions, with the main resource of our land. A land that knew how to combine the quality of its work with the preservation of a rare and natural beauty.
 
Indeed, this event is not only an important occasion of networking, but it offers us the possibility to show a land able to support international initiatives and to suggest, apart from the ability of building entrepreneurship, its history and love for its culture and tradition.
 
Therefore I would like to thank, with affection and admiration JCI WP, Roland Kwemain, VP Chiara Milani, National President Giuseppe Cotroneo, to have chosen Varese and its land as a prestigious venue for this meeting. I am sure that Varese will offer to these wonderful “leaders” the attractive power of one of the most beautiful and industrial province in Europe.

The effort made to offer personal and professional development opportunities to men and women between 18 and 40, deserves a close interest.
 
JCI plays a role as an important association able to provide its young members with opportunities to develop their skills. The aim is to combine leadership skills with the attention to CSR and brotherhood, two essential peculiarities to create positive changes in our society.
 
In a strong entrepreneurship area, like the Province of Varese, characterized by companies that aim at international markets as an element of competitiveness, the commitment of Junior Chamber International can find its full efficiency.

The Mayor of Varese

Varese enthusiastically welcomes an event of international importance, becoming the european capital of JCI young members.

In february our city will be the centre of an important meeting about future of young entrepreneurship.

JCI is an unique opportunity to develop the excellences and enterprise skills for young people who take their first steps in business world.

The visit, in early september, of WP Roland Kwemain was very helpful to promote EPM 2011 and to present charitable campaign against malaria. 

Work and professionalism, therefore, not forgetting social responsability and solidarity. A mission that JCI pursues day by day.
 
I therefore would like to thank National and local JCI officers for having chosen our city to host European Presidents Meeting.

JCI meeting of next february is a very important event for our city.

The attendance of JCI leaders in Varese, besides bringing prestige to our territory, is also a great chance to give positive and constructive messages to the world of young people and not only.

The issues pointed out by JCI World President Roland Kwemain  during His visit in september (leadership, social responsability, entrepreneurship, friendship) show the foundamental issues to make personal and professional profile grow.

Varese has many talents among young people and this meeting helps to understand as today, more than ever, is essential the opening to comparison at any level, especially international one. So opening to grow, with the desire of knowing facts, people, ideas; but also growing to give the best contribution to our community:

This message can be really useful to the development of resources, especially human ones, living in our district.

Tourism has grown more and more being part of the strategy of local development and the economy of the Province of Varese.

Agency of Tourism of Varese, together with Varese Council Town, Chamber of Commerce and Province of Varese, is happy to join this initiative hold in Varese, the European Presidents Meeting, the meeting of the JCI European presidents.
